Chez Vous Policies

  1. A $1000.00 non-refundable Deposit is required to hold a date. This deposit will be applied to the final Bill or forfeited upon event cancellation.
  2. Pricing based on 80% guarantee of initial guest count given. Pricing subject to change if guest count should decrease below 80%.
  3. To assure the availability of menu items, please provide your choice to Chez Vous two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event.
  4. Ten working days prior to the event, Chez Vous must be notified of the exact number of guests attending, This number will constitute the guarantee, not subject to reduction, and charges will be made accordingly.
  5. The Remaining 100% payment is required at least 7 Business days prior to the event. This amount will be calculated based on the final guest count given. After the event, if there is Any balance over the estimated amount, that balance will be invoiced 10 business days after the event. Payment of the balance is required thirty days from the billing date and will be subject to a 1.5% late charge per thirty days past due. Chez Vous does not accept credit cards.
  6. ** The California state tax of 8.25% will apply to all Food, Bartenders, Rentals, Service, Floral, Etc.
  7. ** On all Food, Bartenders, Rentals, Service, Floral, Etc. that is arranged by Chez Vous, a 15% Surcharge will be applied.
  8. While Gratuities appreciated, they are not included and are optional.
  9. Unfortunately, due to liability, Chez Vous can not allow clients to supplement food at any event.
  10. Chez Vous requires professional staff for all events.
  11. Chez Vous is licensed to serve alcoholic beverages. In order to comply with state licensing requirements, any alcoholic beverages arranged for you by Chez Vous may be billed to you directly through our liquor purveyor. You may be required to write a separate check to that purveyor. In addition, Chez Vous will charge a 15% Handling charge (based on the final beverage bill) for the coordination and ordering of the Bar Setup.

Client may elect to provide own Beverages. Chez Vous Catering and Events will impose a $3.50** per person "Bar Setup Charge" to handle client's beverages. Bar setup fee includes ice, ice tubs and bar serviceware. It does NOT include glasses, bartenders, bar tables or linens.
